Shipments
Your order is processed by Arusha Fair Trade the moment it is received. Prices of individual items typically do not include delivery charges except where indicated. We do our own deliveries in the Dublin area. Outside of Dublin we generally employ third-party courier services or An Post to deliver your gifts. Although we provide an indication of typical delivery times, specific delivery times or dates cannot be guaranteed. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 20 days.
For orders being shipped outside the Republic of Ireland, Arusha cannot be held responsible for importation taxes/duty charges.
All address information must be accurate including the postcode where appropriate and the recipient's telephone number. Arusha cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if the recipient's address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. The goods shall be deemed to have been delivered when the courier obtains receipt of the goods confirmation from any person at that address. We do request that you give us a contact telephone number at the time of ordering in case there are any difficulties with the delivery or finding the address. It is the customer's duty to ensure that someone will be home to sign for the gift, which may be delivered by third party couriers. Where the courier is unable to find a person to accept delivery, a calling card will be left for the recipient to contact the courier and arrange to pick-up from the local depot or agree an alternative delivery time or alternative location at the discretion of the courier. If the recipient fails to make contact in good time, the goods are returned to Arusha Fair Trade and a charge will be made for re-delivery to the original or an alternative address.
We do our own deliveries in the Greater Dublin area. The third party delivery services we use most commonly, but not exclusively, are: An Post, and Ardent Direct couriers.
We use amply sized gift boxes or padded postal bags and your items are well-protected.

Returns Policy
At Arusha Fair Trade we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We also realise that sometimes when you buy a gift for someone it may not actually be opened until a couple of weeks after you have received it. We are also confident in the quality of the goods we supply so we have decided to accept the return of unwanted, unsuitable or faulty goods up to 45 days from the date of delivery. The goods can be returned to Arusha Fair Trade by the customer or gift recipient and we aim to make this process as simple as possible.
Unwanted / Unsuitable Goods
Unwanted or unsuitable goods can be returned within 45 working days of receipt as long as the goods are in perfect condition and the packaging remains in an 'as new' state. Prior to returning the item, please contact us to receive a Product Return Code to ensure the item is accurately tracked. This code should then be included with the returned item. We recommend using a reliable insured carrier to return the item.
If you are returning an unwanted item we do ask you to pay the cost of postage or delivery back to us. They must be well packed for return transit. Goods that are damaged as a result of poor packing will not be credited to you.
We cannot accept the return of earrings for hygiene reasons.
In accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling, perishable goods or customised goods made according to custom specifications may not be returned.
Faulty Goods
Faulty goods may be returned to us within 45 working days of receipt and we shall arrange a refund or replacement. Prior to returning the item, please contact us to receive a Product Return Code to ensure the item is accurately tracked. We recommend you include this code with the returned item. If you are returning a faulty item we will refund you the cost of the return postage.
Returns Address
You may return goods to this address: 29 River Valley Close, Swords, Co. Dublin, Republic of Ireland.
This Returns Policy is in accordance with The European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7/EC). These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
